Formed in 2012, MAAN seeks to promote advisor communication, collaboration, and development. MAAN initiatives include:

Higher Education Graduate Programs at Mason

The Higher Education Program in CHSS offers two graduate certificates, a master's program, and a specialization within the PhD in Education, in collaboration with the College of Education and Human Development. Courses can be taken in degree or non-degree status. Visit for more information.

NACADA, The Global Community for Academic Advising

NACADA is a resource for academic advisors who are members and non-members alike. Mason is part of NACADA's Mid-Atlantic Region 2 and the Mason Academic Advisor Network has been an Allied member since April 2015.
