What is your involvement on campus?
I served as a Patriot Leader at new student orientation for two years. Last year I worked as an Off-Campus Student Advisor and assisted off-campus students in a variety of capacities. Currently I am part of the Well-Being Team in the Office of Students Involvement. We work to enhance the awareness and increase the accessibility of well-being practices to the student body.

What is the most exciting aspect of this current year?
I am starting to focus my efforts on my future and career aspiration. I hope to integrate my academic passions and work as an Art Therapist in the future.

What is your favorite undergraduate course at Mason?
The course that comes to mind is Psychology 417- The Science of Well-Being taught by Dr. Todd Kashdan. It was my first glimpse into understanding the multifaceted nature of well-being. These concepts can be applied to every person to improve their life.

What are your plans for Spring break this March?
I will be going on a service break trip through the office of Social Action and Integrative Learning. We are traveling to Jamaica and we are going to help improve literacy for underprivileged children.

What is your most memorable experience at Mason?
My first year serving as a Patriot Leader with Orientation gave me the opportunity to truly engage with the campus community in a special way. I was able to assist incoming students and develop some meaningful friendships with other members of my team.

What would you do with an hour of free time away from classes?
I would relax and spend some time with friends or catch up on some movies and shows on Netflix.

What celebrity would you like to have dinner with at some point?
I would love to go out for Thai food with Adele. She is a fantastic performer and someone you could laugh and cry with over a good meal. My two favorite songs she sings are “Hello” and “Water Under the Bridge.”
