What has been your favorite class at Mason? My favorite class was Advanced English Composition for Business (English 302) with Barbara Grogan-Barone.  I really liked the instructor and she made the class interesting.  It helped me develop my business writing skills in English.

Who is your favorite professor? Barbara Grogan-Barone for English Composition is my favorite professor so far.  She really cared for all of the students and helped us develop into better writers.  The experience was very challenging, but I did well in the class.

Can you tell me about your experiences in The US-China 1+2+1 Dual Degree Program?
I spent the first part of my college career at Shandong University in China.  I chose to enter the program with Mason because I wanted a new experience.  The environment at Mason is very different from home.  There were some challenges with the different cultures at the start.  I was able to quickly adapt and have enjoyed my time here at Mason.  The learning style is more interactive here in the United States.  I enjoy that aspect of my education.

What are your career goals after college?
I hope to continue my education abroad and pursue a graduate Economics degree.  I would like to stay on the east coast of the United States.

What has been your most meaningful experience at Mason?
During my second year at Mason I became more comfortable and starting meeting many new students and joined various organizations.  I have developed many new friendships recently.

What advice do you have for students coming to Mason from other countries?
Be open.  Don’t be afraid to talk to new people and ask questions.

If you could have dinner with one person, who would you choose and why?
I would choose to have dinner with Cristiano Renaldo.  I love soccer and he is my favorite player.  We would eat Chinese hot pot.
