Spring Selective Withdrawal Period Ends

Undergraduate Degree-Seeking students may request a maximum of three selective withdrawals during their entire undergraduate career. Student requests for selective withdrawal must be requested during the selective withdrawal period posted in the Academic Calendar for each semester for full-semester courses. Courses meeting less than the full semester will have selective withdrawal periods proportional to their length, and those dates will be posted on the Registrar’s Office website. Selective withdrawals, once requested by the student, and processed by the Office of the Registrar, are final and will not be removed at a later time, so please consider your decision thoroughly. A Selective Withdrawal will not be processed for a course in which the student has an Honor Code charge.

After this date, withdrawals from courses must be request through the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs (chssundergrad.gmu.edu, chssdean@gmu.edu). Students should carefully review the college policies regarding course withdrawal.
