What has been your favorite class so far in your first year at Mason?
My favorite class thus far is ECON 103- Microeconomics with Professor Don Boudreaux. The material is interesting and Dr. Boudreaux’s excitement about the content makes the class quite enjoyable.
What are you most excited about this academic year?
I am looking forward to progressing with both my Physics and Public Administration degrees. I am excited to develop my skills with the SPSS program for use in my GOVT 300- Research Methods and Analysis class.
Do you have a favorite place to study on campus?
I do most of my academic work at either the Starbucks on campus or on the second floor of the Johnson Center. I generally stick with the tea because coffee is a bit too strong for my taste.
What would you do with an hour of free time away from academic work for your classes?
If I weren’t out with friends socializing, I would be writing science fiction. I would try to develop plots and characters for my story lines.
Tell me some more about your science fiction writing?
At a very young age I worked on developing my writing skills. I have always wanted to write since middle school and really got into it during my junior year of high school. I try to incorporate post-apocalyptic and dystopian themes in my novels.
Do you have a favorite style of cuisine?
I love Chinese food.
